How does the ball bounce on a VersaCourt tennis court surface?
The flatness and tight locking mechanism inherent in VersaCourt tile allow it to have the truest and most responsive ball bounce of any tennis court tile available.
Will extreme cold harm VersaCourt outdoor tennis courts?
Our outdoor tennis courts are not harmed by extreme cold. In fact, our courts have been brittle tested to minus 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do VersaCourt's standard tennis courts match that of a regulation tennis court?
An official tennis court is 78' long. For singles matches, the width is 27'; for doubles matches, the width is 36'. There are boundary lines on tennis courts to ensure proper play. A net is strung across the middle of the tennis court at a height of 3' at center. Service lines are 21' from each side of the net, indicating the area of which a serve should be performed.
Where should I place a tennis court on my property?
It is typically recommended that one build a tennis court from north to south to prevent sun glare during play.
How do I clean my VersaCourt tennis court?
VersaCourt tile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. If it is an outdoor application, leaves, sticks, and trash can build up on the surface. A leaf blower can be used to remove most debris. If the tile surface is dusty or dirty, than a power washer can be used – be sure to set it on a low-pressure setting and do not directly spray the painted lines. Over time dirt, leaves, rocks and other debris may accumulate under the tile. If this does occur to the point where the tile is full, undo the tiles in large sections and slide the tile out of the way to clean the subsurface.
What if a tile becomes damaged?
While it is very infrequent that tiles get damaged, it is nice to know that most can be replaced in a matter of minutes. Simply insert a hook or screwdriver into a hole closest to the corner of the tile which does not have loops and pull up.
What is the cost of a VersaCourt Tennis Court?
